Each year, hundreds of students around the world create posters to celebrate the Iditarod. Here is what teacher Joe Walter has to say!

"I am an English teacher in East Wenatchee, Washington and have followed the Iditarod for about 10 years.  For the last 3 I have done a unit on the Iditarod with my 8th and 9th grade classes.  This year I had my 8th grade classes come up with a new Poster for next year."

"The students had to have these things:Iditarod (with slogan), a picture to represent the Iditarod, and the state outline with the route."

Our guess is that many teachers have samples of posters that could be shared. We'd like to see them!
