IDITAROD XXXVII MUSHER Bob Hickel, (Bib #38) scratched at 07:40 am (March 10, 2009) in Finger Lake Checkpoint. The 62 year-old musher from Anchorage, Alaska scratched after determining that it was in the best interest of his team. Hickel had 16 dogs on his team when he made the decision to scratch.
