JOE GARNIE SCRATCHES IN RAINY PASS

IDITAROD XXXVI MUSHER Joe Garnie, (Bib #28) made the decision to scratch at 11:15 this morning, (March 04, 2008) at Rainy Pass Checkpoint in the Alaska Range. The 54 year old veteran Iditarod musher from Teller Alaska scratched citing health issues with his team. Garnie had thirteen dogs on has team at the time he decided to scratch.
