“The Last Great Race on Earth” Gets Ready to Roll!

Work is taking place behind-the-scenes at the Iditarod Trail Committee Headquarters in Wasilla, Alaska. Thousands of food bags with the names of each checkpoint along the Northern Route of the Iditarod Trail are being separated for distribution to mushers. A record number of mushers will then fill them with food for their dog teams and for themselves. The bags will be delivered to each checkpoint along the trail. An army of volunteers will be loading up tons of food for the competitors in the 2008 Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race!

If you would like to be involved with volunteer projects like this,

IditaRider Update

A record number of mushers are entered in the 2008 Iditarod, which could, with your support, equal a record number of bids in the 2008 IditaRider Auction. Bid on your favorite musher and get ready for the ride of a lifetime!
