As of 1:56pm AST, thirty mushers are still on the trail. Keep track of the most current stats for all the mushers in the Current Standings page. Insider subscribers have access to video clips of each musher as they cross the finish line in Nome as well as archived footage from the entire race.
From Trail Tidbits 18, March 14 — "The top ten mushers made it into Nome all by 12:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, March 14, 2007. Tollef Monson was the tenth musher to make his way under the Burled Arch. He spoke briefly about the race. He felt the worse part of the trail was from Ophir to Iditarod — the trail there had very little snow and a lot of tussex (clumps of grass that can be very dangerous). " Read more…
March 14 — "Since Lance Mackey's triumphant arrival in Nome last evening, 11 more mushers have crossed the finish line. As expected, Paul Gebhardt was number two to cross under the burled arch at the finish line. He arrived last night at 11:28 p.m. The next musher to arrive was Zack Steer at 3:46 a.m. Zack surprised everyone by his incredible race this year. He was followed by Martin Buser and Jeff King at 4:07 and 6:05 a.m. These mushers were followed by Ed Iten, Ken Anderson, John Baker, Mitch Seavey, Tolif Monson, Cim Smyth and Robert Sorlie for 12th position."
